After moving from editing into 2nd unit and then main unit directing, I now am busy writing, directing and editing projects giving me the chance to really own the process and see the stories through from start to finish.

My extensive and diverse experience of editing, including many drama features, has primed me for the move to directing professionally, I am now expanding my CV in that role.

I have always directed music videos and short films alongside the editing side of my career so far.

An award winning editor, I have worked professionally in the industry for over 17 years.

I have cut eleven drama features, as well as many shorts, music videos and commercials. I have also worked on some great docs for BBC, C4, History, Discovery etc.

Story is boss when putting any project together but I have definitely learned to keep my eye on the art. I know when a cut is right because it feels right, nailing the pace and rhythm of any sequence is the most enjoyable part of the process.
